Sacramental Life at Terrigal

Our Sacramental Programme is co-ordinated by Janette Merrotsy under the direction of our Parish Priests. The Sacramental Programme of Confirmation, Penance and Eucharist (First Holy Communion) is a Parish / Parent Based Programme. In this Parish we have changed gear several times to make it as meaningful an experience as possible to embrace parents with their children to come closer to Jesus through the Sacramental programmes.

Parish Christmas Dinner Dance

It feels like yesterday we were kicking our heels up at the annual Parish Christmas Dinner Dance, but here we are in March already of the New Year. It is well worth reminiscing though to recall what a great night it was and worth checking out the fantastic photos from the night!

Many showed off there dancing styles and most would say Fr Dominik should have won a prize!

Australia Day Celebrations 2011

For the past 12 years here in Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish we have had the custom of celebrating Australia Day with Mass to give thanks for our wonderful country, and then we follow it with an Australia Day BBQ.

This first started with Fr Carol Grew, at the old site and then supported by his successor Fr Stan Kluk and now with Fr Mark Okarma this Parish tradition continues.

Easter Pashcal Lambs

This year our Parish is selling the now famous Michaelite Paschal Chocolate lambs. They are made at North Ryde with Cadbury chocolate.

They are still selling at $7.00 (the same price for the past 6 years). They are available in brown (milk Chocolate) and white chocolate. Please ring the parish office and ask for Janette if you would like to purchase.
